What our customers have to say

“The main reason we switched to HemaPrompt FG was to eliminate the need for separate cards and developers for fecal and gastric specimens. HemaPrompt FG is suitable for both sample types. The fact that we didn’t need to have separate developer bottles to perform the test was another positive reason for switching. The test is very easy to perform.” ~LF

“SWITCHING TO HEMAPROMPT FG has been my biggest point of care success!” ~LS

“We love it. HemaPrompt FG saved us money getting rid of developer bottles.” ~MM

“We switched to HemaPrompt FG 2 years ago and have never looked back. The nurses love this product because they are no longer wasting time looking for the developer bottle that mysteriously walked away in “someone’s” pocket. I highly recommend it.” ~MS

“We have been using HemaPrompt FG for >2 years. Our RNs and MDs love it and I have not had a single complaint. It also has a small removable label that has the lot# and exp date printed on it and areas to record results, QC, etc. that can be placed on a log or flow sheet.” ~SK

“We have been using the HemaPrompt FG for several years and it has been a win-win. I did a cost comparison between using the HemaPrompt FG and the Hemaccult and Gastroccult as there was a cost savings. The correlation was very good and it is very easy to use.” ~PW

“I recommend HemaPrompt FG for testing for blood in fecal or gastric samples. We have been using this kit for 2 years and our nursing and physician staffs love it. The kit is very convenient & user friendly. One of the best features of the kit is that the developer is within the card. No developer bottles to get misplaced! For me, customer service is as important as the quality of a product. HemaPrompt has excellent customer service. We were provided with all types of training tools and support that made transitioning to the HemaPrompt FG very easy. I have been so pleased with both the HemaPrompt FG product and company. It has been a real asset to our Point of Care testing.” ~TS

“My facility made the switch to HemaPrompt FG test kits in March of 2009. The decision was based on two main considerations: 1) the convenience and increased accreditation compliance of having one system for both fecal and gastric tests and 2) the cost savings that could be realized by having the developer built into the system, thus avoiding all the additional bottles of developer purchased with our previous test method. The transition was easy, smooth, and well-received. Only positive feedback has been heard from all involved – purchasing, testing personnel (nurses and physicians), and those supervising point-of-care testing. It was definitely the right decision for us and I would highly recommend that other facilities consider its use.” ~MB

“We have been using the HemaPrompt FG for several years and it has been a win-win. I did a cost comparison between using the HemaPrompt FG and the Hemaccult and Gastroccult as there was a cost savings. The correlation was very good and it is very easy to use. The directions are on the card, if they read it. There is a peel-off label that has the lot number and expiration date on it along with the date, patient ID, results and QC. I don’t have to worry about staff using the wrong/expired developer, no developers are in patient room and being used as eye drops, doctors are not walking off with developer in their pockets, one product instead of two. Staff doesn’t always wait the 60 seconds to read it, but then they rarely waited the three minutes for the Hemoccult.” ~PW

“Have been using HemaPrompt-FG in ED for 3 years and the advantages are many… only takes 1 minute (big plus as most docs don’t wait the 5 minutes anyway), No developer to walk off to the floors, Has a sticker with lot #, exp date and place for patient ID, QC box and result which I had them put on the history/physical form, correlations all agreed (done in ED during trial), trialed in ED and they loved it!” ~KM
